Army veteran Noah Galloway – the inspirational author of Living with No Excuses: The Remarkable Rebirth of an American Soldier, who is known by many for his third-place finish on ABC’s hit series Dancing with the Stars and his appearance on the cover of Men’s Health magazine in 2014 as the “Ultimate Men’s Health Guy” – is the keynote speaker for Thursday’s major fundraising event in New York City. Galloway is a double amputee, following a life-changing injury three months into his second tour in Iraq during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
Johnnie Walker’s sponsorship of the event is part of a year-long partnership with Hire Heroes USA that includes a variety of veteran-focused initiatives throughout the year including a donation to the nonprofit.
